      im gonna assume 8wt for the all around fishing that's pretty normal down here and a 10wt if there looking for bigger stuff 30lb plus.

      Hot Action Fishing and Fab Could I use a 5wt and be fine or no?

    • @hotactioncustoms7008
      @hotactioncustoms7008 4 роки тому

      I use my 5wt for catching tiny tarpon like 2lb or 3lb And little snook depending on ware ur at in the backcountry you can get into ciclads and bass to but that's about it. It dosent take much to get whooped in the salt lol. a 8wt is the best all around for saltwater fishing inshore.

    Great video as always, just curious as to why you cut the leader on that one tarpon mid way through the video? I realize the hook falls out on its own over time but just thought you'd want your tackle back.

    Been missing your quality vids. I had thought you had given up on guiding down there. Just moved down from SC. Only about a hour and a half from Everglades City now. Much nicer than those annual 13 hour drives to Flamingo. You ever fish outta EC much? Looks you are in Flamingo most of the time. Love that side console with no liner. The best setup for a narrow beam skiff.
